The Marion Middle School Wildcats competed Thursday at Ell-Saline.

The first half was closely contested. After falling behind in the score, the boys rallied near the end of the half to trail only by two points, 18-16.

However, in the second half the Wildcats went cold from the field and scored only two points in the third quarter and four points in the fourth and ended up losing, 35-22.
