A group of 15 women representing four churches gathered Nov. 6 at Valley United Methodist Church for World Community Day.

A soup lunch was served followed by a business meeting.

The executive committee recommended that only those item purchased in Marion County for the Marion County Emergency Food Bank be reimbursed.

Eileen Sieger presented the program, “Piecing Our Earth Together,” about recycling.
