Work on milling and overlaying Marion Main St. from 1st St. to the west city limit, begun Tuesday, is expected to last five days.

During the milling and overlay processes, traffic on the road will be limited to one lane of traffic.

City administrator Roger Holter said rain could interfere with the speed of the job. Holter said APAC Construction will also make repairs to the shoulders of the road to help ditches drain properly.
