The Marion County Commission will hold a public hearing Jan. 27 regarding annexation of two pieces of property by the City of Marion. The properties are Marion Municipal Airport and acreage owned by Rocky Hett/Gerri Williams.
Most of the seats have been reserved for the Jan. 26 annual meeting of Marion Chamber of Commerce. Gov. Bill Graves will be the guest speaker.

The celebration of Centre High School's winter homecoming will take place Friday during an evening of basketball contests with Tescott. Coronation of a king and queen will take place in a ceremony beginning at 6:10 p.m. King candidates are Kevin Steiner, Frederick Silhan, Nolan Brunner, and Alex Utting. Queen candidates are Kelli Peterson and Sandra Mille.
