Gala Soyez of Florence will be the next head coach of women's basketball at Tabor College, according to Gary Myers, athletic director. Soyez currently coaches girls' basketball at Peabody-Burns High School. She is the daughter of Billy and Margie Williams of Cedar Point.
Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) Branch 2798 in Marion has been awarded the coveted Gold Star rating in recognition of exemplary volunteer service to the community.
