Hannaford Abstract and Title Company is looking forward to more decades of service as the firm completes its 125th year in business. The company was founded in 1871 by E.R. Trenner, who was soon joined by E.S. Hannaford. As Hannaford and Trenner, the firm operated until Trenner's death in 1912. After Trenner's death, John W. Gardner joined the firm. E.S. Hannaford remained with the firm until he was 82 when he turned over his share of the business to his nephew, Roger W. Hannaford, who died in 1949. Roger's wife, Norma, became an active partner and in 1951 bought out the Gardner interest, and the firm became known as Hannaford Abstract Company. Norma Hannaford, Roger "Bud" Hannaford, and Roger Hannaford III celebrated the 125th anniversary of their business this year.

Dear Santa — We love Christmas and are counting down the days until you come! Elliot is 6 years old and would like a Crossfire game, binoculars and a T-Rex transformer. He's doing good in kindergarten and helps Dad and Mom around the house. Isaac is 5 years old and would like a Ninja guy, remote control airplane and a race car track to share with his brother. As always we will leave you chocolate chip cookies and milk — also carrots for your reindeer. Our dog Chloe would like a new squeaker toy.
