The 180-foot tower for Marion Cable TV service was being erected Wednesday on top of a rocky knoll on the Abe Mohn farm just north of the Marion Sports Complex baseball diamond. A headhouse at the base of the tower will house equipment to convey signals picked up by the tower. It will receive commercial station and FM radio signals. The six-meter microwave dish will receive satellite transmissions and the Home Box Office signals.
