Betty Jo Finke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Finke, is the winner Thursday evening of the children's grand prize in the recent Christmas drawings. The pony, complete with bridle and top quality saddle, was presented to Betty Jo by the Marion Chamber of Commerce.

Two talented Marion girls will tour Europe next summer with the Singing Quakers of Friends University. Judy Broadstreet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Broadstreet, and Helen Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Jackson, have been selected to participate in the noted vocal organization.

Babies born this week at St. Luke Hospital are Douglas Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Bernhardt of Tampa and Mary Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Soyez of Cedar Point.

The Youngtown YF had a progressive supper Wednesday evening with salad served at the Ray Davidson home, the main course at the David Bowers home, and dessert at the church. They were joined afterward by their parents and went caroling. YF'ers who enjoyed the evening were Jeff Davidson, Wanda and Glen Hett, Tom and Mike Thomas, Vickie and Cora Klassen, and Greg, Russell, Richard, and Beverly Bowers, and their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Thad Meierhoff.

The Record staff had their annual Christmas dinner Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Wharton Hoch. Others present were Beverly, Jim, and Bill Hoch, Bob Hoch of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wray, Mrs. Paul Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Monette Avery and Barry, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Widler, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Break, and Rene Swanson.
