Somebody's idea of a joke meant no electricity for four hours Friday evening for residents of Middle Creek and Strieby Creek. It took from 5:30 p.m. to almost 10 a.m. to find the cause of the outage. Somebody had shot nine insulators on the line. Folks who had to eat cold suppers and had rather chilly homes during this time did not appreciate the joke and neither did the men who had to be out in the weather, looking for the cause of the outage and repairing the damage.
