Rose Marie Loveless, who leaves Aug. 20 for Newport, R.I., to complete officer's candidate school in the WAVES, was guest of honor Aug. 13 at a party in the recreation hall at Marion County Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Koegeboehn of Elmdale are the parents of a son, Gerald Ray, born Aug. 15 at St. Luke Hospital. Gerald Ray has two sisters, Deborah Kay, 9, and Kathy Mae, 4 1/2.

Marion's American Legion baseball team finished regular season play with a record of 13 wins and 8 defeats. Team members are Dave Klenda, Steve Hett, Charles Pankratz, Norman Alexander, Jay Woerz, Steve Matz, Tom Klenda, Warren Hart, Dennis Knoblock, and John Loney. Gerry Harris is coach, Cy Goertz, manager, and Pat Loney, bat boy.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schmidt and Troy entertained guests Sunday evening in celebration of Rodney's fifth birthday, Aug. 10, and Kevin's second birthday, Aug. 15.

Pvt. John Summerville arrived home Wednesday from Camp Pendleton, Calif. He and his wife, the former Becky Berry, left Saturday night for Memphis, Tenn., where they will make their home while he attends aviation school at the Memphis Naval Base.

Earl Bielefeld B.A., B.D., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bielefeld of Lost Springs, will be ordained to ministry of the Lutheran church, Missouri Synod, Aug. 20 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Tampa.

The much featured Santa Fe Railroad museum car will be on location at Florence for the big Labor Day celebration there on Monday. The car is unique in that it is a moving museum. It contains display cases, special lighting, sound, and air conditioning equipment.
