Marion's beautiful and well-kept cemetery now has some added conveniences that should meet with the approval of everyone. The old stone building, at the center of the cemetery, has been remodeled into an attractive lounge room with two modern toilet rooms off the lounge.

Jim Donahue, president of Donahue Manufacturing Co, Inc., Durham, this week announced the appointment of Ernest B. Gerber as sales manager and Terry L. Kerbs as assistant sales manager.

Adults are invited to play handball at Marion High School gymnasium Wednesday night. Four courts have been constructed. Art Lewerenz, who claims to be the champion of Marion will be on hand to challenge all comers. Coach LeRoy Dreier invites all adults to come out and get some exercise.

Asbury College tumbling team from Wilmore, Kentucky, will present a special program March 16 in Marion High School gymnasium. Dean Ensey, son of Dr. and Mrs. T.C. Ensey of Marion, performs with the group.

Rowena Olsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Olsen, Marion, cataloguer and reference librarian at McPherson, College, will tour libraries in the London, England area from March 17 through 25. She will visit the British Museum, Oxford's Bodleian Library, the Shakespeare Centre at Stratford-on-Avon and other libraries.

John Crofoot, Cedar Point, has been elected vice-chairman of the board of directors of Specialty Advertising Association International. He was installed at the winter convention and exposition held in Chicago from Feb. 21 through 24.
