46 entries reviewed for hospital logo contest years ago

Entries for the St. Luke Hospital and Living Center logo contest were reviewed by a selection committee.

Committee members had a difficult task of selecting the top three logos out of 46 total entries, with some individuals submitting more than one entry.

Three entries were selected by the committee to be presented at the March 11 meeting of the board of directors of Hospital District #1.

Of the 46 total entries, 10 were from a Marion High School art class, taught by Jim Versch, and four were from hospital and living center employees.

Logo contest committee members are Gene Winkler, chairman of board of directors, Hospital District #1; Janet Herzet, director of Marion County Home Care Services; Janice Case, executive board president of the hospital auxiliary; Carol Maggard, Marion County Clerk; and Susan Cooper, staff writer with Hoch Publishing Co., Inc.
