Marion County friends of Paul Seifert will be interested to know that he has purchased a major interest in a large Pontiac and Cadillac agency in Denver, Colo. He took over the management of the agency Dec. 1.
Jay Beaston, owner and manager of Beaston's Market, has purchased the Mrs. S.B. Winchester building across the street from his present location. This is the building formerly occupied by the Sanitary Market. The new location will give Beaston's market and food store considerably more space both for display and storage.
James Robert Meisner was eight years old Saturday so his mother, Mrs. James Meisner, asked a number of his friends in for the afternoon. Those present included Max and George Jackson, Karen Schroeder, Gerry Roberts, Larry Ford, Dennis Schroeder, Gary King, Mary Sue Reh, Janet Whitlock, Donna Sue Newsom, Dicky Wayne Varenhorst, Dicky Morse, Tommy Hayward, Bobby Klose, and Raymond Remmers.
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Venso, Newton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia, to Joe Soyez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Soyez, Marion. No date has been set for the wedding.
Michael, Charles, Robert, and Charlene, children of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Stinchcomb, Lincolnville, all underwent tonsillectomies Dec. 5 at the Marion hospital.
