The Cozy Café changed hands this week. Mrs. H.O. Morgan and son Dean purchased it from Bob Chambers who has owned it for several months past. Dean Morgan has been employed at the Cozy for a year or so and is familiar with restaurant demands.

Jimmy Garrison and Elton Petersen put on such a realistic fight in the grade operetta Friday night that some people wanted to "break it up." And to make matters more realistic, Jimmy, in his barefoot role, had jumped over the fence and landed on a tack. Without a hitch, he pulled it out and went right on, but left bloody tracks wherever he went.

The Walt Hayen family, east of Marion, isn't one to do anything by halves. Just now it's illness. Mr. Hayen has the shingles, Mrs. Hayen has the chickenpox, and four children at home are down — two with chickenpox, two with measles. The other child, Leon, who goes to high school, doesn't have anything — yet — but isn't banking on it too strong.
