A fine step forward at the Marion airport is the installation of 2,000 feet of landing lights by the manager, V.R. Hoopes and his assistant, Miss Bernice Hahn. Fred Domke and Harry Haas aided in stringing the wires and setting the cones. New students registering for training this week include Norman Plenert, Carrol Christiansen, Clinton Haas, Merrill Christiansen, all of Durham; William Silhan and Bernard Meysing, Pilsen; and Calvin Janzen, Hillsboro.
