A little bit of everything
I'm sorry to read in the Wichita Eagle that maybe there will be those strange looking windmills scattered all over the Flint Hills to produce electricity. I remember seeing them — hundreds of them — in northern California. Not a pretty sight.
Someone is always trying to stir up trouble. I thought that when Madeline O'Hare disappeared maybe atheism had disappeared too. But now, some man wants to take "one nation under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance. Just when I was feeling sort of relaxed along that line. I guess religion is the culprit in all of society.
Look at the mess we are in now. People just won't let it alone, from a murdered missionary to shattered world towers. When will it ever end? And where do we go from here?
I listened to some learned men discussing our problems on TV. They said we need leaders. Now that is something to think about! I know the kind of world I want. Peaceful! With people working together happily for the benefit of all. When our corporate people have clay feet and leave us floundering, who is the terrorist?
I guess we need to throw everything back in the pot and start all over again.
Remember the guys and the talents? I wonder if it will take 2,000 years.
