Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Darla A. Gore, 39, 209 W. 11th, Florence, had legally parked her 1999 Dodge Intrepid on Main Street, Marion, at 1 p.m. Aug. 4. Herman Schambron, 76, 141 U.S.-77, Florence, was parked beside Gore. When Schambron backed up the 1971 Chevrolet C20 he was driving, the right rear bumper of his vehicle hit the left rear bumper of Gore's vehicle. No one was injured, reports Deputy Larry Starkey.

Ray D. Hiebert, 39, 448 180th Hillsboro, was eastbound on 180th at 9:50 a.m. Aug. 10. Jackie L. Byrd, 59, 1551 Falcon, Hillsboro, was southbound on Falcon. Both vehicles met at the intersection of 180th and Falcon. Hiebert's 1993 Dodge Caravan struck Byrd's 2002 Dodge Ram. Passengers in the Hiebert vehicle were Phyllis Hiebert, 37, Garret, 11, Austin, 13, and Tamara, 8, all of the home. No one was injured, reports Deputy Mike Vineski.

Bradley D. Hajek, 21, 2104 340th, Lost Springs, had parked his 1992 Pontiac Grand Am in the parking lot of Centre High School Aug. 5. An individual driving a 1984 Ford van belonging to Centre Unified School District #397, backed into the left front of Hajek's vehicle and left the scene, reports Deputy Starkey.
