Anderson, Helmer announce engagement
Kristina Anderson and Mike Helmer, along with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Kristina is the daughter of Ralph and Susan Anderson of Topeka. Mike is the son of Roger and Sally Hannaford of Marion and Burt Helmer of Medford, Okla.
The future bride is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School in Topeka. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in community health. She is a prevention specialist at the Regional Prevention Center in Lawrence.
The future groom is a graduate of Marion High School. Currently, he is working as a paraprofessional and coach at Wichita South High School. He is pursuing a degree in education.
The wedding is planned for July 3, 2004, at First Lutheran Church in Topeka.
