Anne Steiner
Anne A. Steiner, 94, died June 10, 2006, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.
Born Aug. 9, 1911, in Marshall County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Antonie (Pallas) Reznicek.
On Oct. 15, 1935, she married Ralph J. Steiner at Pilsen. The couple lived on a farm northwest of Durham.
She lived in Pilsen for 10 years, then moved to St. Luke Living Center for 16 years. She was a member of St. John Nep. Church, Holy Family Parish, Pilsen, and the church altar society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Francis Steiner of Tampa and Ralph Steiner of Eudora; five daughters, Kathleen Oborny of Marion, Joyce Buckley of Wichita, Barbara Rodriguez of Hutchinson, Veronica Base of Smolan, and Margaret Bailey of Tacoma, Wash.; brother, Paul Reznicek of Colorado; 17 grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and 29 great-grandchildren.
The rosary was recited Monday evening at Holy Family Parish, Pilsen.
The funeral Mass was said Tuesday morning at St. John Nep. Church, Holy Family Parish, Pilsen, with Fr. Hien Nguyen and Fr. Paul Oborny as celebrants.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampa.
Memorial funds have been established with St. Luke Living Center or Fr. Kapaun Guild.
