Arlene Hawkins
Arlene R. Hawkins, 52, died June 3, 2002, at her rural Marion home.
Born March 30, 1950, at Goessel, she was the daughter of Goldie J. (Unruh) Funk and the late Laverne Funk.
She was a para-professional at Marion High School.
On June 17, 1983, she was married to Kelly Hawkins.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, where services were held Friday.
Pastor Ken Peterson was the officiating clergyman.
Survivors include her husband, of the home in rural Marion; son, Uriah J. Titus of San Diego, Calif.; brothers, Elmer Funk of Newton and David Funk of Hillsboro; and one sister, Virginia Martens of Hillsboro.
She was cremated. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
