Bertha Ann Vogt
Bertha Ann Vogt, 93, Hillsboro, died Dec. 11, 2002. at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Feb. 24, 1909, at Prevorst, Wurtenberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Caroline (Baum) Shafer.
On Sept. 8, 1931, she was married to Albert Vogt. He died in 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Edith, and husband Arnold Vogt of Marion; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Tim Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Gnadenau Cemetery.
A scholarship fund has been established for Tabor College in her name at both Parkview and Hillsboro MB churches.
