Billie Slusser
Billie L. Slusser, 84, died May 8, 2003, at Vitas Hospice in Houston, Texas.
She was born May 10, 1918, at Blum, Texas.
On Sept. 22, 1940, she married Billy H. Slusser. He survives.
She had a great love of life, was an accomplished painter and world traveler, having visited the Holy Lands, China, Europe, and Central America.
The Slussers lived most of their lives in Marion. The couple had one daughter, Patsy Ann Enright, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Barbara Hayden of Houston, Texas, and Ted Enright of Phoenix, Ariz., as well as a great-grandson, John William Hayden.
She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
