Noah Edward Slater, son of Mark and Cindy Slater of Florence, was born at 9:36 a.m. Aug. 18, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He weighed 5 pounds 7.4 ounces and was 17 inches long.
The baby has five siblings, Jessica 16, Tyler 13, Evan 8, and Zane 4.
Maternal grandparents are Dewy and Jane Stevens of Florence. Paternal grandparents are Bob and Phyllis Slater of Newton and Michael and JoAnn Knak, Hillsboro.
Great-grandparents are Eldon and Hilda Knak of Hillsboro and Zella Hall of Belleville.
