Joseph and Virgilene Box of Florence are the parents of a daughter, Emma Shae, born at 1:02 a.m. Jan. 14, 2004, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
She weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 18 inches long.
Emma Shae is the couple's first child.
Grandparents are Virgil and Nancy Lewis of Burns, Mike and Vicki Box of Florence, and Sherri Harris and Bill Wilson of McPherson.
Great-grandparents are Don and Marie Depler of Peabody.
