BIRTHS: Katherine Grace Hett
Cherie and Douglas Hett of rural Marion are the parents of a daughter, Katherine Grace, born at 1:12 p.m. Sept. 1, 2004, at Newton Medical Center.
She weighed 9 pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
The baby has two siblings, Ashleigh 6, and Austin 3.
Maternal grandparents are Ray and Susan Savage of Burns and Vaughn and Carol Beaushaw of Newton. Paternal grandparents are Ora and Margaret Hett of Marion.
Maternal great-grandmothers are Alta Mae Savage of Florence and Ruth Ann Schmidt of Newton. Lois Weber is the paternal great-grandmother.
