Bob LacKamp
Robert D. "Bob" LacKamp, 86, died Jan. 5, 2004, at Hutchinson Hospital.
Born Nov. 6, 1917, at Wichita, he was the son of William L. and Margaret Ann (Miller) LacKamp.
On May 7, 1939, he married Marguerite L. "Madge" Blessing.
He was a grocer and former mayor of Inman. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-45.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Survivors include his wife, Madge; a son, Dr. Robert J. Lac-Kamp of St. Joseph, Mo.; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson with Pastor Robert L. Albin officiating.
Burial was in North Inman Cemetery with military graveside honors conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
Memorial funds have been established with the Good Samaritan Center or National WWII Memorial.
