Brandi Billbe
Brandi R. Billbe, 40, died May 10, 2004, as a result of injuries received from an automobile accident near Peabody.
Born April 7, 1964, she was the daughter of Harley and Janice (Nitzsche) Swanson.
She was raised in Hutchinson and graduated from high school there in 1982.
She was employed by Marion-Florence Unified School District #408, where she worked in the maintenance department.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and a hard-working, dependable person who was dedicated to her work, friends, and children.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Survivors include her mother, Janice of Texas City, Texas; a son, Kevin; daughter, Ashley; and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Sherfy officiating.
Stacey Westfahl was the vocalist. She sang "Amazing Grace," and "Go Rest High on the Mountain." Anita Brookens was organist.
Casket bearers were Dick Maggard, Joe Mish, Calvin Seadeek, David Branson, Dick Pracht, Bob Good, and Greta Smith.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
A memorial trust fund has been established in her name for the needs of the children.
