54th annual reunion
Bredemeier descendants held their 54th annual reunion Oct. 1 in the recreation hall at Marion County Park and Lake.
President Annette Nienstedt conducted a short business meeting.
It was noted that four family members had died in the past year. They were: Millie Summervill, Doris Bowyer, Marion Summervill, and Mike Payne.
The oldest person in attendance was Lucille Bredemeier. Ciaran DeYoe was the youngest. The DeYoe family of Ohio traveled the farthest distance; Chuck and Carole Bredemeier of Marion, the least.
Officers elected for 2007 are: Chuck Bredemeier, president; Gary Mott, vice president; Harvey Sanders, secretary/treasurer.
The next reunion will be Sept. 30, 2007, at the same location. It will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a potluck meal.
