Lutheran 11 a.m.

Rick Branson, pastor of Burdick United Methodist Church, will talk at the Mitchell Valley and the three Burdick cemeteries.

Neva Peterson accompanied Darrell and Candice Deneault of Salina to Grand Lake, Colo., May 14 to see Josh Peterson's new house. An open house was held Saturday. Others attending included Keimer of Grand Lake, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dickinson and Hayden of Longmont, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Little of Loveland, Colo. Darrell, Candice, and Neva returned home Monday.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Wednesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended the game Thursday between the girls' soccer team of Emporia High School and Washburn Rural High School at Topeka. After the game they attended the choral concert at Emporia High School. Erin Korte of Emporia, granddaughter of Forrest and Marie, participated in both events. The soccer team from Emporia won the game.

Sabrina Dunkin of Fountain, Colo., arrived Friday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsberg, Savannah, Joe, and Ethan and others.

Kent and Jean Brunner and Jill Brunner held a birthday supper and party Friday evening for Tucker's third birthday. Guests were Ken and Alice Peterson, Melissa Stimac of Herington, Lauren and Orville Brunner, Tracy and Yonni Brunner and Tanner, Mark Brunner of Ramona, O.J. and Kelly Pearl, Emily Koch, and Gabe Schlickaw of Manhattan, Jonnie and Cicely Karst and Rylie of Wichita, Heath Stuewe, John and Amy Handley of Salina, Mike and Linda Carlson, Charles and Arlene Carlson, and Nolan Brunner. Ice cream and cake were served later in the evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Schild of Golden, Colo., came Friday to the home of Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington. They took Ken and Alice and Neva Peterson out to dinner. They were on their way to Kansas City for Lamar's 40th high school reunion.

Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove was a Saturday overnight guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Candice Deneault of Salina came Saturday to bring Neva Peterson to the Salina Trinity Methodist Church to attend the funeral of Donna Miles. Donna was Enid Rust's sister. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rust of Sandy, Utah, Paul Rust of Nampa, Idaho, Grant Rust of Riverton, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Zwahlen and children of Park City, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fine, Sarah and Savannah of Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Baker of Lawrence, Neva Peterson of Burdick, and Candice Deneault were among those attending Donna's funeral. C.J. and Pat Baker brought Neva Peterson and also visited with Ruth Riggin and Jack and Nancy Riggin.

Ken and Ila Bryant of Wichita visited Sunday afternoon with Neva Peterson. They were here to attend Joseph Forsberg's graduation.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson, Lisa Beye, Cuyler and Chelsea of Herington, Shelly Crowder, Oliver Peterson, Marvin Peterson, Josie Peterson, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg, Lois Peterson, and Audine Strand were visitors of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson during the week.

Many attended the high school graduation parties Sunday afternoon of Eric Peterson of Lincolnville, Josh Spooner, Brent Carlson, Andrea Carlson, Irina Komarnitskaya, and Joseph Forsberg.

Naomi Nelson called on Neva Peterson Sunday afternoon.
