Burdick: 90th birthday celebrated years ago

Margaret Rust of Salt Lake City, sister of Neva Peterson and Paul Anderson, celebrated her 90th birthday over the weekend with 49 family members and friends.
Margaret said she had a wonderful weekend with every member of her family to help her celebrate. It was the first time she had seen the younger children.
Hosts for the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rust of Sandy, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Welch of Oceansprings, Miss.
Sabrina Dunkin celebrated her 21st birthday Tuesday at Pizza Hut in Council Grove. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan, Allen and Connie Thomas, Esther Grimmett of Council Grove, Nancy Hickman of Burdick, Stacey Twiliger of Ramona, Joe Forsberg, Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Savannah and Ethan, Earl and Evelyn Forsberg, and Richard Forsberg.
Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove spent Monday and Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg.
Ethan Forsberg was a Wednesday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg.
Darrell and Candice Deneault of Salina and Neva Peterson left Tuesday morning to spend a few days with Margaret Rust and family in Utah.
Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode spent Thursday and Friday with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg. Other visitors during the week were Mary Deane Peterson, Joe Forsberg, Sabrina Dunkin, and Nanette Forsberg.
Forrest and Marie Anderson attended the 80th birthday reception Sunday for Tony Korte at Arkansas City.
Members of the Burdick Women's Educational Club met with their husbands Sunday evening at the Homestead Village in Herington. Attending were Forrest and Marie Anderson, Vic and Helene Brunner, Wayne and Nancy Hanson, Harry and LaVerna Miller, Eldon and Isla Nelson, Ruth Riggin, Pat Nelson, and Myrtle Peterson.
