Burdick American Legion, Auxiliary dinner is March 4

The family dinner for the American Legion and Auxiliary will be held at the Legion hall at 6:30 p.m. March 4 in celebration of the birthday of the American Legion. Meetings will follow the covered dish meal.

Wednesday evening guests of Forrest and Marie Anderson were Earl and Marcella Hermstein and Charles and Mona Kniebel of White City.

Charles and Arlene Carlson visited with Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington Friday afternoon.

Friday afternoon visitors of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson were Maureen Peterson of Burdick and Chelsea Beye of Herington. Saturday afternoon visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Burton and Saturday evening visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Burdette Peterson and their grandson Hunter Schrader.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Saturday dinner guests of Kent and Jean Brunner of Lost Springs. Jonnie and Cicely Karst of Wichita visited Charles and Arlene Saturday evening.

Candice Deneault of Salina was a Sunday visitor of Neva Peterson. In the afternoon, they attended the 80th birthday party for Ruth Riggin at the Burdick United Methodist Church.

Sunday afternoon guests of Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Joe, Savannah, and Ethan to celebrate Ethan's 13th birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove, Nancy Hickman, Richard Forsberg, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg.

Jean Brunner and Jill Brunner and Tucker visited Charles and Arlene Carlson late Sunday afternoon.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Earl and Ruth Schump in Herington Tuesday afternoon. Wade Rickenbrode spent from Thursday to Sunday with Earl and Evelyn.

Additional Saturday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsberg, Savannah, and Ethan. Bonnie Sill of Herington visited with Earl and Evelyn Saturday afternoon.

Earl and Lois Peterson made a business trip to Wichita Feb. 11 for doctor appointments. The Petersons visited Goldie Steely at Enterprise Thursday, then went on to Abilene for supper
