Burdick: California couple has lunch, departs for home

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Schild of Sacramento, Calif., called on Mr. and Mrs. Paul Anderson and Neva Peterson on Tuesday. All enjoyed eating at the Woodbine Café. Neil and his wife drove to Kansas City in the afternoon and took a plane for home.

Monday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg were Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Dr. and Mrs. Larry Peterson of Granby, Colo., left Aug. 25 after spending the night before with Neva Peterson. They were on their way to the 100th birthday anniversary of Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee.

Harvey Hawkinson of Herington was a Thursday evening supper guest of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Linnea Barlow was a Tuesday evening visitor of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles Hall of Stephenville, Texas, died of Alzheimer's Aug. 23 in a rest home. There was a service in Texas and also in Topeka. He was laid to rest Sunday afternoon at Sunset Hill Cemetery. He was a grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Hall of Burdick.

Marvin Peterson and Josie of Lincolnville were Wednesday visitors of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.
