Burdick: Forsberg entertains guests during week

Charles and Arlene Carlson attended the 100th anniversary celebration Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Ramona. Services were held in the morning, a catered dinner at noon, and a program in the afternoon.

Ethan Forsberg was a Tuesday supper guest of Evelyn Forsberg.

Naomi Nelson was a Wednesday afternoon visitor of Evelyn Forsberg. Savannah Forsberg visited Thursday after school.

Gary and Marilyn Hageberg are visiting his sister, Irene Ford at Boulder, Colo., from Thursday through Monday. Another sister, Ruth Prendable of Lanhan, Md., also will visit.

Bob and Marena Riggin of Detroit visited Sunday afternoon with Neva Peterson. They also visited Jack and Nancy Riggin and Ruth Riggin.

Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin and Logan of Herington were Friday guests of Evelyn Forsberg. They all went to Council Grove for appointments and lunch together.

Charles and Arlene Carlson visited Thursday afternoon with Esther Wernecke at White City.

Dean Forsberg and Ethan visited after the football game Friday night with Evelyn Forsberg.

Burdick United Methodist Women will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) in fellowship hall. Diana Jost will give the lesson and Shirley Miller will have devotions. Nancy Riggin and Linda Peterson are hostesses.

Charles and Arlene Carlson accompanied Linda Carlson Saturday morning to Wichita to the home of Jonnie and Cicely Karst and Rylee. They brought Rylee home for a visit with her grandparents, mike and Linda Carlson.

Gary and Karen Korte of Emporia, Lisa Marvin of Atchison, and Forrest and Marie Anderson attended the Hyllingfest Saturday at Lindsborg. They took dinner to LaVerne Johnson and visited with Maurine at their home.

Harry Schump of Herington and Ethan and Savannah Forsberg were Sunday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg. Visitors Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Jon Nelson and Samuel of Benbrook, Texas.

Senior citizens will meet at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Burdick UM Church. A video of the 2005 Labor Day parade will be shown and updated information on Medicare D will be presented. Everyone is invited.
