Burdick: Legion meets Tuesday

Burdick American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Legion hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove were Monday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg. Morgan also was an overnight guest. The Rickenbrodes and Morgan and Evelyn Forsberg visited Elmer Schump at Wesley Medical Center Wichita Tuesday. Ethan Forsberg and Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove were Friday overnight guests of the Forsbergs.
Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carlson, to celebrate Charles' birthday, were Cicely Carlson of Wichita, Jill McGrath and Tucker of Manhattan, Nolan Brunner, Melissa Stimac of Lawrence, Kent and Jean Brunner of Lost Springs, Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington, Roger and Rolland Peterson, and Mike and Linda Carlson.
Saturday supper guests of Ruth Riggin were Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Baker Jr. of Salina, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Riggin of Detroit, Jake Tindle of Hutchinson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Riggin, and Neva Peterson. They were celebrating Pat Baker's birthday.
Sunday dinner guests of Galen and Janis Peterson were Norman and Edna Peterson, Gloria Martin, and Katie Martin of Herington, Janis' mother, and Neva Peterson.
Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg were Pam Clark of Woodenville, Wash., Rick Schump of Seattle, Wash., Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Savannah, Ethan, and Joe, and Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan.
Ruth Riggin was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Jost. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox of Marion.
Sunday evening visitors of Neva Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Peterson of Herington, and Inez Schild.
Karin Nelson and Linnea Nelson visited Ruth Anderson at Salina.
Wednesday overnight guests of Eldon and Isla Rose Nelson were Dr. Stanley and Joyce Nelson of Marysville, who spent Thursday with them. Steve Hanneman of Peabody joined them on Thursday. They were helping with the yard work.
