Burdick Legion serves pancakes

Pancakes, eggs, and sausage will be served from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Burdick Legion hall. Donations will be accepted. The American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion are sponsors.

Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove spent from Thursday night and Friday with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Supper guests of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Burton of Hope and Josie Peterson of Lincolnville. The Burtons also visited Sunday. Lorna Spooner and Taylor visited Saturday with Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.

Don and Francis Wilson of Council Grove were Wednesday visitors of Eldon and Isla Rose Nelson.

Bonnie Sill of Herington and Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove were Friday dinner guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Donna Hanneman of Peabody spent Friday night with Eldon and Isla Rose Nelson. She took them to the doctor on Saturday and returned home.

Mary Deane Peterson visited Saturday with Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were Sunday visitors of Kent and Jean Brunner. Other guests were Amy Brunner and John Hanly of Salina, Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan, Melissa Stimac of Lawrence, Ann Koch, Emily Koch and friend Dave, Nolan Brunner, and Orville Brunner of Ramona.

Earl and Evelyn Forsberg and Dean and Nanette Forsberg attended graveside services Saturday for Jack Loomis at Diamond Springs.

Ruth Riggin and Lois and Earl Peterson met cousins Thursday for a meal at Al's Café in Lost Springs. Those attending were Doris Penner of El Dorado, Viola Bernhardt of Duncan, Okla., Sandy Dody of Wichita, and Jean Dody of Arlington, Texas.
