Everyone is invited to attend Myrtle Peterson's 85th birthday party from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Burdick United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson spent Tuesday afternoon in Junction City with Elmer and Mae Forsberg.
Joe and Ethan Forsberg were Wednesday evening supper guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
Ruth Ann Carlson took Goldie Steely to a tri-county arts meeting Thursday and later out to eat at Herington.
Thursday evening visitors of Charles and Arlene Carlson were Darrell and Jewell Swinney.
Officers of the Women's Educational Club of Burdick met at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Nancy Hanson. Attending were Marie Anderson, LaVerna Miller, Darlene Gutsch, Nancy Hanson, and Inez Schild.
Mrs. Duane Carlson and Andrea visited with Goldie Steely Wednesday evening.
Evelyn Burns, Dr. and Mrs. Brent Connor of Salina, and Harvey Hawkinson spent Friday afternoon with Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.
Earl and Evelyn Forsberg visited Friday evening with Mike and Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan in Council Grove.

The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary of Burdick are scheduled to meet at the Legion hall at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lester and Marie Thornton of Abilene, Rolland Peterson, and Oliver Peterson attended the funeral services on Friday for Paul Peterson at Joplin, Mo. Bill Peterson of Herington and Mary Deane Peterson also attended the services.
Eldon and Isla Rose Nelson went to Lenexa Friday to spend the weekend with Gary and Linda Nelson, David and Jennifer. Other guests for the weekend were Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Nelson and Kristy of Marysville, Angie Nelson and Ryan Regier of Hillsboro, and Steve and Donna Hanneman of Peabody. They were celebrating an early Thanksgiving.
Charles and Arlene Carlson went to Kent and Jean Brunner's to play with Tucker McGrath Saturday evening after attending the benefit for Jesse Smith.
Norman Peterson entertained Gloria Martin, Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington, Inez Schild, and Neva Peterson to dinner at the Rockin' V restaurant in Herington after church. Inez and Neva visited Edna Peterson at the Herington hospital in the afternoon.
Afternoon and early evening guests of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg were Berniece Rickenbrode of Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove, Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Joe, Savannah, and Ethan, and Richard Forsberg. They were celebrating Mike's birthday.
