Burdick: Pin recipient invites friends to ceremony

Marjorie Barnes of Tulsa, Okla., will be awarded a 50-year pin at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Masonic Temple in Herington. She would like to have some attend from the Burdick area. There also will be a social hour.

Burdick Senior Citizens will meet at noon, Sept. 13 for a covered dish luncheon. The meat will be furnished.

Saturday evening super guests of Jim and Marilyn Peterson were Alfred and Darlene Sondergard of Ramona, Mike Peterson and Kasey of Lyndon, and Earl and Lois Peterson.

Monday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Forsberg to celebrate Earl's birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsberg, Joe, Savannah, and Ethan, Marvin and Sally Barlow, and Richard Forsberg.

Helping Neva Peterson celebrate her birthday Thursday evening were Goldie Steely, Naomi Nelson, Jack and Nancy Riggin, Galen and Janis Peterson, Paul and Leona Anderson, Harry and LaVerna Miller, Norman and Edna Peterson of Herington, Forrest and Marie Anderson, Oliver Peterson, Inez Schild, and Ruth Riggin.

Bob and Marjorie Price of Atlanta, Ga., has arrived to spend the Labor Day weekend with Gary and Marilyn Hageberg and to visit other relatives and friends. Ruth Prendable of College Park, Md. arrived Thursday evening.
