Burdick seniors to hear program

Burdick Senior Citizens will have a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Legion hall. Ken Nienstedt of rural Marion will entertain with his program, "Poems in Rhyme." Bring a treat to share for refreshments. Coffee and tea will be furnished. The public is invited.
Ethan Forsberg was a dinner guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg on Wednesday.
Charles and Arlene Carlson were Friday afternoon visitors of Ken and Alice Peterson in Herington. The Carlsons were Saturday dinner guests of Kent and Jean Brunner. Other guests were Jill Brunner and Tucker of Manhattan and Nolan Brunner.
Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove was a weekend guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg. Additional Saturday dinner guests were Dean Forsberg, Savannah and Ethan. Sunday afternoon visitors were Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson and Josie Peterson of Lincolnville.
Marvin Peterson, Scott and Josie of Lincolnville entertained Friday evening for Eric's 17th birthday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Burton of Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Bret Beye, Samantha, Elizabeth, Cuyler and Chelsea, and Jodie Herman of Herington, Mary Haefner of Lincolnville, Oliver Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Burdette Peterson, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson.
Forrest Anderson and Oliver Peterson were visitors of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson during the week.
Mike and Linda Carlson were Sunday evening coffee guests of Charles and Arlene Carlson.
Chelsea Beye of Herington and Josie Peterson of Herington were Friday overnight and Saturday guests of Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.
Mike and Jane Rickenbrode and Morgan of Council Grove were Sunday evening visitors of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg and Wade returned home with them.
