Burdick seniors to meet Friday

Burdick senior citizens will meet at noon Friday at the Legion hall for a covered dish meal. Meat will be furnished. A program is being planned.
Kacey Nickel was a Tuesday evening supper guest of Charles and Arlene Carlson.
Leroy Shannon of Colorado was a Monday dinner guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg.
Roger Peterson and Rolland Peterson visited with Charles and Arlene Carlson Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Peterson spent Tuesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burns of Americus.
Sabrina Forsberg of Emporia was a Thursday dinner guest of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg. Wade Rickenbrode of Council Grove spent Friday night and Saturday with Earl and Evelyn.
Harvey Hawkinson spent Thursday afternoon with Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson.
Jean Brunner visited Charles and Arlene Carlson Friday afternoon after school.
Kansas cousins, Doris Kuchar, Bradley Hedstrom, Byron Hedstrom, and Bruce Hedstrom attended the funeral of their aunt Hazel Ulrich of Greeley, Colo., on Friday.
Candice Deneault of Salina came to attend church with Neva Peterson and stayed with her until Sunday evening. She was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Jack and Nancy Riggin and their granddaughter Ashlynn.
Forrest and Marie Anderson accompanied Gary and Karen Korte of Emporia to see Erik Korte perform in the advanced swim meet competition between Southwest Missouri State University and Texas, held at Springfield, Mo.
Lois and Earl Peterson went to a baby shower in Wichita Saturday and also visited Ernest and Arlene Schroer. Sunday evening guests of the Petersons were Walt and Kathryn Otte and Irvin and Audine Strand.
