Burdick: Steely entertains visitors

Visitors of Goldie Steely this past week were Oliver Peterson, Audine Strand, Neva Peterson, Shirley Miller, Gretchen Methvin, Nancy Hanson, Phil Peterson, Irvin Stand, Leona Anderson, Jennifer Kassebaum (2 times), Connie Johnson, Marilyn Hageberg, Kristen Johnson (2 times), Earl and Lois Peterson, Leona Anderson, Diana Jost, Marie Anderson, and Carol Lehmann.
Earl and Lois Peterson and Alfred and Darlene Sondergard went to the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita April 8 to visit Matt and Jamey Dalke and Tyler John. He is their new great-grandson.
Earl and Evelyn Forsberg attended the Council Grove school program Monday evening. Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode participated in the program. Wade spent from Friday evening through Sunday with the Forsbergs. Ethan Forsberg spent Friday night and Saturday and Savannah Forsberg was an additional Saturday dinner guest.
Roger and Rolland Peterson and Les and Marie Thornton fixed a noon meal April 7 for the following guests: Oliver Peterson, Earl and Lois Peterson, and Wendell and Mary Deane Peterson. They were celebrating Earl's birthday.
Dr. Larry Peterson of Granby, Colo., and Josh Peterson arrived Friday to stay with Neva Peterson until Tuesday.
Callers at the home of Ruth Riggin the past two weeks were Claudine Johnson of Andover, Sam and Betty Spade of Wichita, and Earl and Lois Peterson.
Candice Deneault of Salina spent Saturday with Neva Peterson, Dr. Larry Peterson, and Josh Peterson.
Earl and Lois Peterson went to Wichita on Friday. Earl had a checkup on his heart.
Earl and Evelyn Forsberg and Wade Rickenbrode visited Charlene McRae at Council Grove Saturday evening.
Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington visited with Neva Peterson, Dr. Larry Peterson, and Josh Peterson Sunday afternoon and had coffee with them.
Sunday afternoon visitors of Earl and Evelyn Forsberg and Wade Rickenbrode were Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Joe, Savannah, and Ethan.
Earl and Lois Peterson, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Oliver Peterson enjoyed Sunday dinner at the Rockin' V Restaurant at Herington. After dinner, they went to Manhattan to visit Eldon and Isla Rose Nelson and Donna Hanneman at the hospital.
Earl and Evelyn Forsberg took Wade Rickenbrode back to his home in Council Grove Sunday evening and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan.
Dr. Larry Peterson, Josh Peterson, Neva Peterson, Ruth Riggin, and C.J. and Pat Baker of Salina were Sunday evening lunch guests of Jack and Nancy Riggin.
Also visiting Earl and Evelyn Forsberg during the past week were Glenn Carlson, Mary Deane Peterson, and Charles Gutsch.
