"To Adam, paradise was home. To his descendants, home is paradise."

The playground at the Cedar Point School has new boards on the merry-go-rounds and the teeter-totters. We also had the east windows covered as there were broken windows. It does look nice.

Condolences to the family of Fred Pracht who died recently. Fred and Ola were lifelong residents of Cedar Point. There were quite a few people I met at the hospital, upon learning that I was from Cedar Point, would ask me if I knew Fred and Ola Pracht. Fred was buried at the Cedar Point cemetery.

Betty and Mason Fetrow had supper Thursday evening at Don and Carol Masons' place south of Andover. They attended Fred Pracht's funeral on Friday. On Saturday, they visited Don and Twylah Nightengale of Florence.

Dorothy Scharenberg had a great birthday on Saturday. It's hard to believe Dorothy is the age she is. Micki and Jerry Siebert, Todd Siebert, Clarisse and Tom Alexander of Lincoln, Neb., Doc and Phyllis Scharenberg of Hillsboro, and Leon Scharenberg of Newton took Dorothy and Leo to Kingfisher's Inn for lunch on Saturday.

Hope you have a terrific week!
