Centre FFA members participate in dairy foods contest
Centre FFA chapter recently competed in the South Central District dairy foods career development event in Marion.
During this activity, students were tested on their knowledge of dairy products by tasting milk for its flavor and quality, identifying cheese, and distinguishing natural and artificial dairy products.
The senior A team placed third. Team members included Gloria Belton, Brooke Carlson, Brandy Kaiser, and Jackie Klenda.
The senior B team finished fifth with members Alisha Barney, Nick Cole, and Christa Pretz.
Five freshmen participated individually in the Greenhand division. Savik Howard finished ninth. Others were Nathan Barney, Kacey Hanschu, Konley Harding, and James Weber.
