Centre FFA members place in competition
Centre FFA students competed March 24 in South Central District and BCCC invitational competition at Barton County Community College.
Laura Klenda finished first among the top 10 individuals in invitational ag sales competition. Aaron Barney placed sixth and Josh Spooner 10th.
Kristen Mueller took first place in district ag sales competition. Centre also placed first as a team. Other individuals in the top 10 were Shaina Makovec, fourth, and Derek Belton, eighth.
Cecilia Rziha placed first in the invitational farm management contest. Andrea Carlson was fourth. The team finished second.
In district competition, Andrea Carlson was third and Derek Belton seventh. The team took third place.
The ag sales and farm management teams qualified to enter state competition.
