Centre FFA to conduct leadership conference
Centre FFA officers recently applied for and received a $953 chapter grant from the National FFA Alumni Association.
Kristin Mueller, chapter vice president, said the money will be used to carry out a leadership conference for freshmen and sophomore members of the five FFA chapters in the county.
The event will be held Nov. 23 at Centre High School. It will include three workshops dealing with teamwork and development of career skills and a group presentation by state officers. A noon meal will be provided.
