Centre homecoming is Friday
Centre High School's 2003 winter homecoming coronation ceremony will take place at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, immediately following junior varsity boys and girls games with St. Xavier of Junction City. The theme song will be "Landslide," as performed by the Dixie Chicks.
King candidates are: Derek Belton, son of Edward and Gwenn Belton, Tampa; Dusty Caldwell, son of Tom and Sandy Holub, Tampa; Curtis Gutsch, son of Scott and Sharon Gutsch, Lincolnville; and Mark Pagenkopf, son of Mark and Marsha Pagenkopf, Lost Springs.
Queen candidates are: Chelse Brunner, daughter of Mark Brunner, Ramona, and Kathy Biswell; Stephanie Heiser, daughter of Mark and Kathy Heiser, Tampa; Kathleen Meek, daughter of John and Claudia Meek, Lost Springs; and Trisha Naerebout, daughter of Penny Naerebout and James Southers, Lost Springs.
Little helpers will be: Trenton Miller, son of George and Jennifer Miller, Lost Springs; Conner Montgomery, son of Barry and Jennifer Montgomery, Lincolnville; Tabitha Oborny, daughter of David and Sandra Oborny, Marion; Joseph Pierce, son of Silke Neuhaus, Lost Springs; Callie and Kailyn Riffel, twin daughters of Jeff and Tana Riffel, Lincolnville; Brenna Shields, daughter of Carroll and Kim Shields, Lincolnville; Amber Giordano, daughter of Kenny and Cathy Holub, Tampa; James Mercer, son of Chester and Sheila Mercer, Ramona; Addie Love, daughter of Burton and Valerie Love, Burdick; and Shelby Makovec, daughter of Darren and Amy Makovec, Lost Springs.
A dance will follow the varsity boys' basketball game. Decorations will be in purple and silver. Steve Seifert of Lost Springs will serve as DJ.
