Centre homecoming is Friday
A ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Friday at the Centre High School football field to crown fall homecoming royalty.
King candidates are Kyle Luna, son of George and Dawn Luna, Lincolnville; Mark Pagenkopf, son of Mark and Marcia Pagenkopf, Lost Springs; and Derek Belton, son of Gwenn and Ed Belton, Tampa.
Queen candidates are Ashlee Bowman, daughter of Sam and Dena Bowman, Lincolnville; Chelse Brunner, daughter of Mark Brunner, Ramona; Trisha Naerebout, daughter of Penny Southers, Lost Springs; and Stephanie Heiser, son of Mark and Kathy Heiser, Ramona.
The candidates will arrive in pairs in an open white carriage provided by Triple "R" Carriage Service of Woodbine.
Little helpers at the coronation ceremony will be Justin Bina, Pilsen, son of Jeff and Terri Bina; Levi Hastings, Lincolnville, son of Bonnie Hastings; Courtney Hett, Marion, daughter of Tony and Misty Hett; Tristen Hett, Tampa, daughter of Troy and Gina Hett; Cassidy Hill, Marion, daughter of Kevin and Teresa Hill; Tia Jenkins, Lost Springs, daughter of Larry and Connie Jenkins; Nellie Kassebaum, Burdick, daughter of Bill and Jennifer Kassebaum; Caleb Kristek, Lincolnville, son of Ron and Anna Kristek; and Karyn Leihy, Tampa, daughter of Tom and Monica Leihy.
The homecoming theme is "Hero," based on a song by Nickelback. Colors are red and black.
The game with Wakefield will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a dance from 9 p.m. until midnight with music provided by All Star DJ of Manhattan.
