Centre homecoming is Friday

Centre High School is celebrating spirit week in honor of homecoming. It will culminate with a coronation ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday at the football field, prior to the Cougars' game with the Hope Lions.
King candidates are Todd Stahlecker, son of Alan and Sheri Stahlecker, Lincolnville; Eric Peterson, son of Marvin Peterson, Lincolnville, and Lisa Peterson, Kechi; Travis Burns, son of Victor and Gail Burns, Lincolnville; and Aaron Barney, son of Gene and Denise Barney, Tampa.
Queen candidates are Raschelle Jirak, daughter of Steve and Vicki Jirak, Ramona; Andrea Carlson, daughter of Duane and Karen Carlson, Lincolnville; Amanda Kleiber, daughter of Lynn and Peggy Kleiber, Tampa; and Trichia Pauls, daughter of Greg and Darlene Hubbard, Lincolnville.
Little helpers are: Valery Craney, daughter of Junior and Anna Craney, Pilsen; Kirsten Hansen, daughter of Andy and Staci Hansen, Marion; Haley and Daniel Rudolph, children of David Rudolph, Lincolnville; Hannah Hemmer, daughter of Holly Hemmer, Lincolnville;
Tyler Bentz, son of Cheri Bentz, Tampa; Nathaniel Engler, son of Norman and Carla Engler, Burdick; Adam Makovec, son of Ron and Renee Makovec, Lincolnville; Jacob Matz, son of Brad and Sharon Matz, Lincolnville; and James Mercer, son of Chester and Shelia Mercer, Ramona.
The homecoming dance following the football game will feature DJ Steve Seifert of Lost Springs and will last until midnight. The theme is "I Believe," with decorations in navy and sky blue.
