Centre thinclads finish season
Members of the Centre High School cross-country team participated in seven regular and one regional meet this season.
Junior Justin Garrard placed seventh Oct. 25 at regionals to qualify for the state competition. He did not place at state.
Garrard placed in the top 10 at every regular meet. His best time was 16:59, earned at the Marion meet where he placed second. He placed third at Lebo Sept. 4 and again at Hesston Sept. 15.
Best showings for others were as follows:
Dani Hatfield - 4th at Lebo, 18th at Marion.
Brittany Owens - 16th at Lebo, 8th in junior varsity at Council Grove.
Ashley Perkins — 21st at Lebo, 31st at Marion, and 20th in junior varsity at Council Grove.
Jo Terwilliger — 20th at Lebo, 19th in JV at Council Grove, 3rd in JV at Wichita Trinity.
Brandy Kaiser — 27th at Chapman.
