Chester Fisher
Chester A. Fisher Sr., 77, of Herington, died Dec. 8, 2004, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. Born Nov. 24, 1927, in Herington, he was the son of Charles and Clara (Brown) Fisher.
On Sept. 3, 1948, he married Mary Flowers at Ratoon, N.M. She died in May 2004.
Survivors include a son; three daughters; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel. Burial with full military honors was in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
A memorial fund has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
