Although there are no fireplaces at MHS, "chestnuts" are definitely roasting, sleigh bells are ringing, and everyone is ready for the holidays.

Plans are being made and everyone is looking forward to the two and a half weeks of Christmas break.

"I'm going to my grandma's house in Moundridge," said senior Jillyan Berg.

Vocal music director Adam White and band director Mike Connell have planned a wonderful evening of music for the community.

Marion High School Singers will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at Marion City Auditorium.

The long-anticipated Marion High School Christmas concert will be Monday evening at Marion City Auditorium. "Expect good tidings and cheer from the concert this year," said Adam White.

The performance includes pieces by the Singers, concert choir, mixed choir, concert band, and jazz band.

Student council will sponsor a Christmas dance Saturday night.

"We put a lot of hours into planning and decorating," said STUCO member Briana Vogel, "but the success of the dance depends highly on the support we get from the students attending the dance."

There is no better holiday than Christmas. Marion High School students invite you to celebrate the season with them by attending the Christmas concerts at 7 p.m. Saturday and Monday at Marion Municipal Auditorium.
